The Liverpool Santa Dash is now officially launched!

This is us in the 2008 Santa Dash

At the top of the Radio City Tower, in Liverpool, in the presence of the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, the Santa Dash for 2009 was declared open.

The Liverpool Santa Dash 2009, organised by Run Liverpool, it takes place on 6th December around the streets of Liverpool City Centre.

Imagine the scene, it’s a cold December morning (-3° last year!), the streets are empty, the sea mist clears revealing 7,500 Santas running!

Why do we do this to ourselves you say?

Why else but Charity (as well as the good laugh we have doing it!!)

We are trying to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities by dressing up as good old St. Nick and running around Liverpool like loonies!

Last year our target was £300 and we raised £305 as well as gift aid of £70.51! This all went to MS Support Centre, Chester.

Who are we doing the Liverpool Santa Dash for?

This year we have decided to do our fun run for Cancer Research UK… a very worthwhile charity we feel and one that affects so many people.
